Sorry for the late post! My schedule has went from hectic to crazy over the past few weeks so I seldom get the chance to sit down in front of the computer and type for hours! But yes, I’ll do whatever it takes to keep my blog updated everyday… Okay, maybe not everyday, but at least thrice a week - ‘coz I expect nothing more but busyness until the end of the Christmas season. Guess what? My Christmas tree hasn’t even been reassembled yet!
Hey wait… why am I talking about Christmas here when I haven’t even blogged about Halloween? And since November isn’t over yet, I think it would still be appropriate if I do a recap about how I had spent my Halloween. Well, nothing much actually. I just did a little dress up instead of watching horror movies or reading ghost stories! By doing this, I hit three birds with one stone: 1.) Updated my LookBook account 2.) Got a chance to win a LookBook Halloween contest! [yes I submitted the pic as a costume entry] 3.) Enjoyed Halloween!
Outfit: Black dress, White bag, DIY white studded heels, Vintage-inspired camera pendant necklace, Spiked bangles, DIY gothic-inspired ring
This is my first time to dress up for this yearly celebration! Haha! And since LookBook is all about fashion, I decided to make the costume “fashion-inspired” by doing the Zipper Face look! I just glued the zipper onto my face, then glued strips of tissue paper on the sides of the zipper and applied tons of makeup to conceal the tissue. The fake blood was just a mixture of paint, cornstarch, water and dye.
And I found this cute little kitten walking around so I decided to have a shot with it, although taking a good pic was a little hard as the kitten won’t sit still:
Dried fake blood… LOL
So you want it a little creepier?
And look at my little sister’s costume… Haha! I included her in the contest. The title? “The Chocolate Vampire!”
And no, I don’t expect us to win… there are much more amazing entries. What’s important is that we had fun for Halloween! ♥♥♥
